Kochkor

Kochkor village is a place where you can have a rest and spend a night on the way from Issyk-Kul Lake to Son Kul Lake or Torugart pass (border with China). It is a small village and there are many little guesthouses for tourists. One of the most famous places there is Fatima House. There is a Kyrgyz family that can prepare a national lunch for you in a yurt that stands in their garden. Also they have a nice museum of applied art. The museum is small but has very many interesting things. If you wish you can see felt carpet show. They will show you the way of felt carpets production and you even can produce your own one!
