Uzgen town, Kyrgyzstan

Uzgen town is situated not far from Osh city. There are remains of the city that was built in 11 century by Karakhanids. Karakhanids means Rich Khans. At that time the city was very thriving because of Great Silk Road. Mane traders were coming there to have a rest and to sell their goods. Nowadays you can see there Uzgen Tower that was used as a sign for travelers and also you will see 3 mausoleums. The archeologists think that they were built for noble dead khans that lived at that time in Kyrgyzstan.
